British Shorthair

The British Shorthair is a medium to large cat breed which can weigh between 3 and 8 kilos (6 to 17 pounds). Females are generally smaller than males.

This cat breed was originally an English alley cat. They are the equivalent of the European cat or the American Shorthair.

The British Shorthair is a calm and peaceful cat. They adapt very easily and are sociable with other animals. This cat can get very attached to its family. However, they do not get too dependent on their family.
