Brown dog breeds

We love brown dog breeds! There are many of them because many breed standards accept brown coats. Some chocolate colored breeds are very popular, such as the Labrador Retriever. In fact, the Labrador Retriever is one of the most adopted dog breeds of this color.

There are several different shades of brown. Some coats can have a mix of colors, such as brown and fawn or brown and black. This is the case of the English Cocker Spaniel and the Chihuahua.
