Chartreux

The Chartreux is a medium-sized cat breed that measures about 30 cm and usually weighs between 4 and 8 kg (8 to 17 lbs). With that in mind, the weight varies according to the gender of the cat. Concerning its life expectancy, the Chartreux has a rather long one. They typically live between 15 and 20 years.

This cat breed has a blue-gray coat that is easily recognizable. They are rather solitary, but have a lot of charisma and a very mysterious look. The breed can be very easy to live with, however, it is recommended to train it from a young age to keep it from being too temperamental.

The Chartreux is rather independent but needs attention from its owner. This cat breed gets along well with children and has no problem living with a family. Additionally, they are not known to be aggressive.
